3.Recognise how the top four social media platforms work
4.Understand how you can get the best results from job alerts
5.Develop a personal strategy for marketing yourself to employers
You will need the following in order to attend this session:
Access to internet
Use of a PC, laptop or a tablet (mobile phones do not support the resource for the session)
LinkedIn is a combined networking, self-promotion, and job search tool. It’s the single most important online platform for employment. However, most people use only a small portion of what’s on offer.
This workshop teaches participants effective ways to use LinkedIn for job search and networking for assistance in finding a new role.
We begin by looking at how LinkedIn works with algorithms and keywords.
