Job Description
The Role The successful candidate will work alongside a team of experienced and professional movers, assisting with household removals and relocations across South-West London, with occasional work outside London. The role will involve: - Loading and unloading furniture, boxes and household belongings - Carrying and handling items safely and carefully - Protecting furniture and customers' property during moves - Assisting experienced movers with household relocations - Working as part of a professional team - Maintaining high standards of customer service and care
Duties

Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is: - Reliable, punctual and hardworking - Physically fit and comfortable with manual work - Presentable and polite when dealing with customers - A good team player - Careful and responsible when handling customers' belongings - Keen to learn and develop within the removals industry - Previous removals experience is an advantage, but training will be provided Applicants from Wandsworth, Richmond and surrounding areas are particularly encouraged to apply, as this position forms part of our ongoing local contract work.

We are currently looking for a Part-Time Porter to join our experienced removals team as part of an ongoing project serving the London Boroughs of Wandsworth and Richmond. Pay & Progression The starting rate will be GBP14.50 per hour for the first three months while the successful candidate receives ongoing training and is assessed for suitability and performance. For the right candidate, there is the possibility of progressing into a permanent position with increased pay and greater responsibility. -
