Job Description
Job details - Starting rate GBP15-18/h depending on the experience - Mainly covering Wandsworth contract - Permanent contract after 3-month probation - Monthly payments - Overtime available - Own tools required - Driving licence required - Eligibility to work in UK required Working hours Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Duties
Main purpose of the job: To ensure both company and client needs are met & must ensure all of company and client policies and procedures are met. Carry out tasks issued by the office and reporting back when issues arise Key accountabilities: - Write down all measurements in QUANTITY or SQM or LM or MM and the location i.e. kitchen or bathroom. - Make sure all costs are provided when you take a material from the shops (if known) - Pictures must be taken before/after installations & job completions. - Pictures need to be taken in relation to further works - Specify materials needed for further attendance so these could be preordered Additional responsibilities: - Keeping your van clean and tidy (inside and out) - Notify the line manager/ team of any issues - Make sure you have all the correct tools required to carry out works (this is your responsibility as company do not supply tools) - Make sure all your receipts are on your expenses claim form Practical requirements: Must be willing to travel to clients' offices/sites and available to work overtime and carry out emergencies (if needed). Essential Criteria
Essential Skills - Experience in carpentry, plastering, plumbing, flooring, tiling etc. - Experience in working for social housing sector would be an advantage - Good attitude, punctuality, good communication skills Must have own tools and driving licence
